Parents and other concerned community members held a protest and press conference outside of a closed door school board meeting. The school board president and members have known for months now that a temporary restraining order was granted against the of Round Rock Independent School district for allegedly assaulting his pregnant ex mistress and sending her threatening text messages to get an abortion. Many parents have concerns about allowing this superintendent to keep his position. Instead of suspending him or taking any other action, the board members have efforted to silence the community -even having a pastor who spoke up about it dragged from a board meeting and later arrested and jailed. An army veteran was also arrested and jailed for speaking up in a school board meeting. Five of the seven trustees ignore the Governor's executive order to ban mask mandates and turn a blind eye to pornographic books in the school libraries. Parents have had enough.
